REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE RELATED SEMINARS

The knowledge CDR's experts have gained in construction and real estate matters is applied when analyzing real estate transaction related issues. Mike Showalter, as the owner and designated broker of Showpiece Investment Property Management, shares this knowledge in seminars for real estate brokers and sales personnel.  Due primarily to the fact that the principals of CDR are licensed real estate brokers only in the the state of Washington, we have limited our seminars to this area of the Northwest.

As with our construction forums, these real estate forums combine hand-outs, multimedia presentations and models for demonstrative exhibits.  Interaction with the participants is encouraged, including post seminar correspondence and "real world" site visits.

These are examples of our real estate related seminars:

  • Flying Below Radar (Risk Management Review: Disclosure Statements, Listing Agreements and Pre-purchase Inspections)

  • Broker/Agent Representation Issues

  • EIFS Parts I and II

  • The Insurance Industry and EIFS

  • EIFS Issues in Listing and Selling Residential and Commercial Properties

  • EIFS and Exterior Cladding Issues Affecting Real Estate Transactions

  • Construction Contracts
